John (part 3) - Rediscovering Jesus
Introduction
Over this next term we will immerse ourselves in the dramatic final week of Jesus life. There is no other writing that gives us such a close and intimate account of all that Jesus thought, taught and prayed as the daunting prospect of good Friday approached.
As John tells the story, so he reveals the most extreme and remarkable aspects of who Jesus really is.
I hope that as we explore the finale of this gospel together you will be even more blown away by the extraordinary character of God that will not be intimidated by hate or fear, but is constantly focussed on love and compassion.
I hope that, like me, you will be hugely encouraged and challenged by what it really means for us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
